Having a hard time figuring out what career path is right for you? Or maybe you already know and want to test-drive your dream job?

Regardless of where you stand, we’ve got you covered. Spend a semester or summer with The Washington Center (TWC) gaining real-world experience and building a plan for life after college.

While you’re having an incredible time interning in the nation’s capital or from the comfort of home, you’ll also be earning academic credit at your school. What could be better than that?

State Funding for Mississippi Students

If you attend a selected college or university in Mississippi, you’re automatically eligible to receive a $7,500 scholarship towards TWC's program and housing fees (if you choose to join us in D.C.) or just the program fee (if you choose to participate remotely).

In most cases, your on-campus tuition will also be waived! Sign up via the form on this page to learn more about the cost and credit arrangements at your school.

Your TWC Internship Experience

During a summer or semester with TWC's internship program, you’ll :

  • Gain real-world experience with an internship in your field
  • Take part in career readiness programming to prepare you for the job market
  • Connect with professionals in your industry for insights and advice
  • Map out your career path and develop the skills you'll need to get there

Most of all, you'll join a professional network of mentors, advisors and 60,000+ alumni who are ready to help you launch a career you'll love.

Before I came to TWC, I didn't have the tools to be able to network and make professional connections. I now feel so much more confident about all of the incredible opportunities that are out there!
